They are not real. Get over it!- Rant by me

OKAY NO. FOR ME THEY EXIST IN THIS WORLD AND THEY DESERVE TO BE CRIED OVER FOR HOURS IF THEY DIE.

Have you ever had that moment when you loved a character and marvelled at how amazing they are? AND IN JUST THE NEXT SCENE THEY DIE. Most heartless people won’t bother to think twice about it. I for one cry hours for THE LOSS OF A FICTIONAL CHARACTER.

I first cry for 15 min over her/his death. Then I cry for another 15 min when my brain reminds me they aren’t real and then I cry for half an hour thinking how real they were to me and replaying their best moments in my head.

Sometimes I feel like once the author has completed thinking of the characters he writes their name on a wheel and spins it. Who soever gets chosen dies. I really don’t think that the AUTHOR WOULD INTENTIALLY KILL SUCH A WONDERFUL CHARACTER.

Curse your amazing book writing skills random Author. How can one make us love a character, Hate a character and then make us cry over a character??

*Adds Selena Beauregard, Bob the Titan and Damasen in the picture in her mind*
*cries*

The whole reason I wrote this post was that I completed Heroes of Olympus and even though LEO didn’t actually die the split second I DID think he died broke me.

So how do you feel about this post? Feel free to rant out in the comments!

For now,

Kaashvi

  1. Ikr?! When those characters died I was so shocked, but also I kinda liked it? (excepting Octavian, I quite enjoyed that😁🤣) I can hate when it is a serious long series and there are tons of dangers and problems and somehow everyone makes it through ok? Like, Come on! In real life people would die and there would be casualties! I don’t cry in books, I don’t have that kind of attachment, but I do think about the characters in situations where they would be a great addition.
I just finished Percy Jackson, and gods of Olympus. Both series were great.

  2. Aaagh I hate it when people say that. I have issues with not actually crying, but I often go into a state of depression for like an entire day when my favorite book characters die… I broke my computer because I was listening to an audiobook and the main character died…
